Kevin L. Cintron is the president, owner and sole practitioner of Kevin L. Cintron, RD, LLC. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science (BS) and Masters of Science (MS) in Clinical Nutrition from Hunter College of the City University of New York. He completed his Clinical Dietetic Internship at North Shore University Hospital. He is a bilingual (English/Spanish) practicing nutritionist with the following credentials: Registered Dietitian (RD), Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Board Certified in Advance Diabetes Management (BC-ADM), Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN) and Certified Health Coach by the American Council on Exercise (ACE). In addition, he has completed the Commission on Dietetic Registration certificate program in adult weight management and certified as an insulin pump trainer with various companies. He has been a practicing Dietitian/Nutritionist for over 20 years.
Past Accomplishments, Awards and Appearances:
In 1995, the pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk awarded Best Diabetes Educator to Kevin L. Cintron. In 1998, Bayer Pharmaceuticals at the American Diabetes Association Gala, “Portraits & Profiles” honored him for his work and commitment in the field of diabetes in the Bronx.
Kevin L. Cintron has lectured and continues to do so to groups on the subject of nutrition and diabetes. In addition, he has been a spokesperson for The American Diabetes Association.
Kevin L. Cintron has appeared on both English and Spanish radio as well as television shows addressing diabetes and other nutrition-related topics. More specifically, he has appeared on The Channel 4 News on the Sunday Morning Show, The Wall Street Journal Report "Home Medical Testing Equipment" and The Morning Show (Money Works segment) on the economics of diabetes. He has also appeared in Spanish talk Radio, Noticias 41 and on numerous times on Hispanic Horizon Channel 19.
